Dave Tennesen, 59, passed away at his home June 11. He was born Feb. 4, 1949 in Bremerton to William and Ethel Tennesen.

He graduated from Central Kitsap High School in 1967 and attended Olympic College in Bremerton. Dave married Linda Kraay April 13, 1991 in Poulsbo.

He served 12 years in the National Guard. He retired from Lockheed-Martin at SWFPAC in 2004 and quickly became accustomed to his new lifestyle. He seldom missed morning coffee with friends at All-Star Lanes. His passions were family, friends, cars and all things mechanical. Always the first to lend a hand, he was an active volunteer at King's West School, where his two daughters attend.

Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his wife Linda of Poulsbo, son: Rick Putnam of Kodiak, Alaska, daughters; Jean (Rick) Shauvin of Spokane, Stefanie Putnam and Margo (David) Lipari of Phoenix, Ariz., Ashley and Chelsey Tennesen of Poulsbo, brother; Terry (Tammy) Tennesen of Port Townsend, sister; Beth (Philip) Cornish of Bremerton, and four grandchildren.
