Michelle Marie Robertson

30, 2010)
Memorial Service for Michelle (Robertson) LeBeau, 64, of Watertown, SD will be held on Friday, June
4, 2010 at 1:00 pm at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Sisseton, SD with the Rev.
Fr. Andy Knop Celebrant. Organist will be Cindy Marohl and song leader will be Georgia Streier.
There will be visitation on Friday, June 4, 2010 from noon until service time
at the church. Michelle Marie Robertson was born on July 11, 1945 in Pierre, SD
to Basil and Mildred (LaRoche) Robertson. Michelle
attended school at St. Peter’s Catholic
School and graduated from Sisseton High School in 1963. Following her
education, Michelle moved to Pierre,
SD where she worked at the State
Capitol in administrative support for five years. Michelle was united in
marriage to Earl Ruckdaschel on April 19, 1969 in
Sisseton, SD. They made their home in Castlewood, SD.
Michelle attended Lake Area Technical Institute in Watertown where she received her LPN degree.
Michelle moved to Nebraska in1995 and worked
as a pharmacy tech. Michelle was united in marriage to Victor LeBeau on July 2, 1999 and they made their home in Arizona. Michelle
continued to work in the health care field. Victor passed away in June 2009.
Michelle retired in July 2009 and moved to Watertown, SD
where she made her home. Michelle enjoyed watching movies, attending rodeos,
gardening, enjoying theatre, dance, and the arts. Michelle passed away on May
30, 2010 at the home of her sister, Laurie Robertson in rural Sisseton, SD
after an extended illness. Michelle is survived by three sons, Darin and wife, Lubica Tomasovich Robertson of
Watertown, SD, Richard Ruckdaschel of Watertown, SD,
Christian and wife, Mandi Ruckdaschel
of Mesa, AZ; two daughters, Heidi Ruckdaschel of
Watertown, SD, and Haili Ruckdaschel
of Desert Hot Springs, CA; two step daughters, Kelley LeBeaux
and her wife, Kelly Longstaff of Rapid City, SD and
Vicki and husband, Marty Hebb of Eagle Butte, SD; her
father and mother, Basil and Phyllis Robertson of Pickstown,
SD; one sister, Laurie Robertson and husband Dr. John Zimmer of Sisseton, SD;
five brothers, Mike Robertson of Pickstown, SD, Rick
Robertson of Sioux City, IA, Brian Robertson of Veblen, SD, Terry Robertson of
Stephenville, TX, and Jon Robertson of Sioux City, IA; three grandchildren,
Matthew Robertson of Puyallup, WA, Alexys Ruckdaschel of Jamestown, ND and Kelci
Bends of Eagle Butte, SD. Michelle was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred
Robertson, paternal grandmother, Eunice Robertson and one brother, Larry
Robertson. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Prairie Lakes Hospice, Watertown, SD.
